Homeschooling- is it the best move for your family? Maybe!? That depends on so many factors like your family values, the goals for your career, what resources are available to you, and even what school your kids are currently attending. We’re both products of basic public schooling, but it’s a topical question as the percentage of children who are homeschooled has basically doubled in the past few years- but, homeschooling isn’t a slam dunk decision. And the same is true on the real estate investing front. We love that path for some people and it’s a strategy that has worked out well for us. You’ve heard of real estate moguls who’ve made millions ‘in real estate’ and maybe the algorithm is even feeding you social media influencers who are claiming that it’s so easy. Well today we have a nuanced conversation to help you to determine if it’s right for you or not. We discuss how the real estate market has evolved over the past decade, some of the cons in addition to pros of becoming a landlord, some alternative ways to invest in real estate that are essentially passive, as well as some lower risk ways to wade into the waters of investing in real estate.
