    I have used CPAP machines for 20 years. You do not need a prescription to buy one, but you need a prescription for insurance to pay for it. I have sold unused and sealed parts on eBay. Buying a second hand machine isn’t as gross as you might think because it only blows air out; CPAP stands for Continuous Positive Airway Pressure.
