The results from our survey are in, and it turns out that everyone’s gotta eat!.. Groceries are a universal expense and you likely have felt the increased pressure on your wallet over the past few years. Prices at the supermarket have increased over 26% from 2019 to today according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. This is a pattern Americans hate to see – paying more for the same old stuff, but luckily we’re joined by Brian Vines who knows all about the rising prices of groceries and how that affects you as a consumer. He’s the deputy editor of special projects at one of our absolute favorite publications, Consumer Reports. And we’re going to talk about how you can pay less at your local bodega, grocery store, warehouse club, or wherever you buy your food. We discuss going digital with your savings, the rise of rebate apps, the double edged sword of convenience, unlikely places to find discounts, and more. Plus we venture into pet insurance as well as affordable dog food!
